NGC 6568: Open Star Cluster (Sagittarius) RA: 18h 12.8m / DEC: -21° 35'.0
Instrument: 10-inch Starfinder

NGC 6568 is a beautiful little star cluster in northern Sagittarius. The 5.5 magnitude star just inside the eastern border of my sketch is 14 Sagittarii, 22' from NGC 6568. The sketch is based on an 82X view in the 10-inch Starfinder. It shows about 30 members of the star cluster and another 40 or so field stars. 3.8 magnitude Mu (13) Sagittarii is just outside the field to the north. NGC 6583 is 51' to the southeast.
