NGC 3813 has been banished to the south-central region of the Great Bear. This 11.6 magnitude spiral galaxy is rendered at left as observed in my 10-inch Newtonian at 63X. It is a fairly nondescript object, covering a 3'x2' area. Among the 14 field stars recorded in my sketch, is 8.2 magnitude HD 101394 about 14' to the west. NGC 3941 neighbors just 2.3 degrees to the east.
