NGC 3432 is an edge-on galaxy located 2.4 degrees north of 3.8 magnitude 46 Leonis Minoris. My sketch, based on an 82X view in the 10-inch, shows a 6'x1' nebulosity elongated northeast-southwest. It is sandwiched by a pair of 13th magnitude GSC stars with 9th magnitude stars further along that line. NGC 3432 has an integrated visual magnitude of 11.3 and a relatively high surface brightness of 21.9 magnitude per square arc second. This is an interesting object for moderate aperture telescopes.
