NGC 1502: Open Star Cluster (Camelopardalis) RA: 04h 07.8m / DEC: +62° 19'.9
Instrument: 10-inch Starfinder

This pretty little cluster is harbored away in northern Camelopardalis. NGC 1502 resides 1.4 degrees north of NGC 1501. The sketch at left presents the view in my 10-inch Newtonian at 82X. The 6.9 magnitude cluster is spread over a 7' area. A close pair of 7.0 magnitude stars lie at the heart of NGC 1502. These are surrounded by 21 additional cluster members in my drawing.
