NGC 7510 is a 7.9 magnitude open star cluster in southeast Cepheus and it's presented in the sketch at left. At 129X in the 10-inch Starfinder Newtonian, this cluster bears a striking resemblance to an evergreen. Centered in the drawing, NGC 7510 is anchored by 9.6 magnitude HIP 114490 at the base of the tree. Fifteen stars fill out the branches and give this cluster its distinctive triangular appearance. 8.4 magnitude HD 240211 shines 8'.4 south of the treetop. A 9th magnitude GSC star is visible 12' west of the base. Another 43 field stars complete the portrait. Look for NGC 7510 about 2 degrees southwest of the Messier cluster, M52.
