This little gem is tucked away in the for northeastern corner of Cygnus, 2.5 degrees north of 4.7 magnitude Pi1 (80) Cygni. NGC 7128 is centered in the sketch at left, which presents a 129X view in my 10-inch Newtonian. Lynga specifies an integrated visual magnitude of 9.7 for this cluster, which contains 35 stars spread over a 3'.1 diameter area. Fifteen member stars appear in the Starfinder, the brightest arranged in parallel rows. A subtle background glow hints at the remaining unresolved stars in the cluster. The field is salted with an additional 35 stars, which frame the view. These include 7.9 magnitude HD 206790, 10' to the west-northwest.
