Coma Berenices is a favorite of galaxy hunters. Several members of the Virgo cluster reside across the border in Coma. The great NGC 4565, arguably the most impressive edge-on spiral in the sky, is found here. NGC 4150 is fairly nondescript as galaxies go. My sketch, drawn at 82X in the 10-inch Starfinder, shows an 11.6 magnitude glow covering a 2' diameter area. This SO-type galaxy features a stellar core region. The 9.2 magnitude star 6'.6 west of NGC 4150 is HD 105696. A 13th magnitude GSC star sits 3' southwest of the galaxy. NGC 4136 lies just beyond the field of view to the south.
