Sweep 37' east of 5.0 magnitude 56 Ursae Majoris and you will stumble over NGC 3675. This 10.2 magnitude spiral galaxy is featured in the sketch at left. Based on the view in my 10-inch Newtonian at 82X, the drawing shows a 4'x2' oval aligned north-to-south. The galaxy features a stellar core region and is shepherded by a trio of 13th magnitude GSC stars immediately to the west. Another 17 field stars complete the rendering, 8.9 magnitude HD 99163 being stationed at the field boundary to the southwest.
